Oli BrownBright new blues star Oli Brown plays Live Lounge on Sunday, so decide for yourself

Oli Brown and his band (Fredy Hollis, bass and Simon Dring, drums) start their tour of the UK October 1 and play Liverpool Live Lounge on Sunday 4th October, now it is your opportunity to see and hear for yourself what everyone is talking about.

Oli Brown is just 20 and only been playing for six years, he has toured in the UK, Europe and the Mid West, he has opened for a who’s who of big names in the Blues world, including Buddy Guy and Joe Bonamassa.

The future of the Blues is evidently bright” said Guitarist magazine upon hearing his debut album “OPEN ROAD”.

At every gig that Oli Brown plays the audience are mesmerised by the sheer professionalism of his performance and the contagious pleasure he exudes. His take on Blues with a mix of Funk, Jazz and Rock gives him that extra individuality and his youth is attracting the younger audiences too! His appeal crosses the traditional barriers.

Oli Brown is the most promising Blues man to emerge from Britain in a long time” said Blues Matters! Magazine.

Oli Brown is not only a guitar prodigy, but also a singer, songwriter and consummate performer. This is a young man who shows total dedication to the genre he loves.

In 2008, Ruf Records saw and heard the potential and signed Oli to their label, they then took him to Germany to record his debut album, OPEN ROAD. The album was released in July 2008 to great reviews from Mojo, Uncut, Guitarist, Classic Rock, Sunday Express etc.

The rest of 2008 saw Oli Brown performing in the UK and in America and increasing his fan base.

2009 is turning out to be a fantastic year too, with gigs in Europe, a short tour in association with HMV in the UK during March, various festival gigs, features in Blues Matters!, Classic Rock, Guitarist, TV and radio sessions in the UK, Europe and America and Vanquish Guitars presenting Oli with the first Oli Brown Signature guitar (which is now being marketed by them).
With everything that is happening, do not miss out on seeing Oli Brown live
