This Thursday Night the new Penny Lane Art Gallery will be graced by Jon Roseman for thirty-five years a leading agent and video producer, who lived through a near-daily diet of dramas, crises and tantrums from some of the worlds biggest rock stars and TV celebrities.

Known as “The Godfather of the Music Video” he’s worked with, amongst others, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Queen and The Eurythmics. As a celebrity agent he represented Fern Britton, Natasha Kaplinsky, Kate Garraway, Nancy Dell'Olio, Anne Diamond, Roger Cook and the late Jill Dando. Jon also dealt with Richard Branson, Michael Portillo, John Birt, Imran Kahn and David Frost, to name but a few. Jon describes their strange and unpredictable behaviour in vivid detail in his autobiography “From Here To Obscurity”. He pulls no punches and no egos are spared in his hilarious and moving memoir, but he never takes himself too seriously, commenting, "After all, we weren't saving lives."

Join Penny Lane Gallery where Jon will talking about his life and adventures and there’ll be screenings of some of his most memorable music videos - oh, and a couple of free drinks too! The event starts at 6.30pm, admission is free.
