On Thursday 29th April at the Zoo Café Bar in St Helens, Johnny Vegas himself will be introducing the ‘world’s most travelled comedian’ Nick Wilty and the excitingly cheeky Gordon Southern for a night of fantastic stand-up.

Quirky globetrotter Nick Wilty, has performed on every continent except Antarctica (although he did a show in Tierra Del Fuego!), and has done shows in all major Festivals, including Edinburgh (6 times), Glastonbury (5 times), Auckland (twice), Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, Montreal (Just For Laughs), Vancouver, Edmonton, San Francisco, New York, Amsterdam, Cape Town & Hong Kong.

Nick has won several awards, including the Polo Mint Comedy Award, voted by fellow comedians and club owners in England, Best International Act in San Francisco and noted by comic experts

"Just three adjectives to describe Wilty - brilliant, brilliant and brilliant"
THE NEW YORKER

With years of comedy experience under his belt, Gordon Southern is one of the most sought after headline acts on the UK and international circuit. Gordon regularly plays to sell out audiences at the most prestigious clubs in the country including Comedy Store and Jongleurs. His upbeat and energetic delivery combined with his fantastically funny observational comedy & quick witted improvisation has secured his place as an audience favorite.

Gordon made his Edinburgh debut in the highly respected Comedy Zone in 1997 and has since gone on to take up several successful and acclaimed solo shows, as well as winning the Time Out Comedy Award '95 (The Cheese Shop - Most Surprising Discovery)
