We are in a time of 'hyper attentiveness', always being connected to a screen based world. It is also a time of great efficiency with our technology, a kind of Utopia.

It looks like LOOK the Liverpool based Photographer festival will be back in Town later this year after they succeeded in recieving funding from Arts Council England for another fine outing.

The City Speaks is an exciting podcast tour of Liverpool’s history and its people, produced by sound artist Chas de Swiet for DaDaFest International 2014, with Julie McNamara as your guide to Liverpool's history and its people.
It has taken twelve years to get this exhibition up and running at FACT. Originally it started out as a lecture in Germany in the late 90's at Munich University and now it has evolved into an exhibition first shown, in a reduced capacity, in Germany in 2000. There is also a 460 page book, only in German currently, with 900 illustrations where 20 experts contextualise the phenomemon and a 25 hour running time DVD Box set.
