Can Liverpool develop a commercial arts sector?

If so what are the conditions that will allow this to happen?

Static Gallery have been commissioned by Culture Liverpool to carry out research - in the form of two public events - that will examine the current position of Liverpool’s commercial arts sector and what possibilities lie ahead.

This public consultation meeting, chaired by Static and Quad Collective will present the initial ideas and framework for ‘Developing a commercial arts sector’ in the form of a ten minute presentation then the discussion will be opened to the floor.
